Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Yobe State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Borsari, Yobe State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) We offer ₦140,000 per month plus benefits.
