Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
