Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Wharton County, Texas. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
