Coating plant operator wanted in Mason County

Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Mason County, Michigan. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Your main tasks: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
