Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Hertfordshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Hertfordshire, England. The job is on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
