Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial painter in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a property maintenance company. Day to day you will apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover. You should have: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
