We are recruiting: pressman (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Switzerland County, Indiana. You will be based at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
