Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Fayette County, Ohio. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time, day shift.
