Immediate opening: cnc lathe setter (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Full-time, day shift.
