Gtaw welder wanted in Buckinghamshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Buckinghamshire, England. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
