Vacancy available: machinist (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Sonoma County, California. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
