Restoration bricklayer wanted in Henrico County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Henrico County, Virginia. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Rotating shifts.
