Great opportunity: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience.
