Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jones County, Texas. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
