Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Bacon County, Georgia. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
