Furnace operator — Coleman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Coleman County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
