Great opportunity: gtaw welder (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
