Insulation installer — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. Day-to-day duties: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
