Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Granite County, Montana. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
