Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Kazaure, Jigawa State. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
