Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Essex County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled.
