Safety officer — Barnsley

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Barnsley, England. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements You will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,100 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
