Immediate opening: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules Your main tasks: • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum We offer £13 per hour plus benefits.
