CO2 welder — Watonwan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Watonwan County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
