Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Mills County, Iowa. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
