Reinforcement fitter wanted in George County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in George County, Mississippi. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
