Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Oneida County, New York. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
