Vacancy available: scaffolding charge hand (Pennsylvania)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a shipyard. You should have: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use 5+ years on the tools preferred.
