Gas service engineer • Cumberland County, New Jersey

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Cumberland County, New Jersey. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
