Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Clinton County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
