Immediate opening: concrete finisher (South Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in McCook County, South Dakota. The job is in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
