Production welder wanted in Rapides Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
