Elevator repair technician — Columbus County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Columbus County, North Carolina. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
