What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
