Building site helper • Ovia South-West, Edo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a building site helper in Ovia South-West, Edo. You will be based on a commercial building project. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
