Fabricator-welder wanted in Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lawrence County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 5+ years on the tools preferred.
