Great opportunity: bar bender and fixer (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Six days a week, one day off.
