Now hiring: garment machinist (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Atascosa County, Texas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
