Great opportunity: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Lake County, Indiana. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. The role involves: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Can read electrical and piping schematics Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
