Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Santa Clara County, California. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals 1+ years on the tools preferred.
