Urgent requirement: slinger signaller (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Overtime paid at a premium rate.
