We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Skamania County, Washington. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
