Demolition labourer • New York County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a demolition labourer in New York County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Your main tasks: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
