Refrigeration and AC technician • Union Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines Requirements: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
