Automotive paint technician — Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Livingston County, Michigan. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners The role involves set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
