Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Rotating shifts. ₦140,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
