Final inspection operator — City of Staunton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a final inspection operator in City of Staunton, Virginia. Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
