Gang bricklayer wanted in Fayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Fayette County, Iowa. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
