Garment machinist • Ramsey County, North Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Ramsey County, North Dakota. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
