Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in McDowell County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Six days a week, one day off. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
